The EnzySolutions project aimed to extend the application of enzymes to various stages of the leather processing, beyond the application on the bating stage. 

Recent advances in biotechnology have made it possible to optimise forms and create stages of application – in phases such as soaking, depilation, degreasing and post-tanning – contributing to the creation and improvement of products.

The project was developed under the Research Incentive System (POCI/FEDER) and co-financed by Compete 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Union.
