INDINOR is one of the driving forces behind the “FAMEST” project, which aims to develop materials, components and technologies that favour the development of new footwear concepts. INDINOR is part of a consortium made up of 23 companies from the entire footwear value chain (leathers, insoles, soles, chemical products, software, equipment, logistics and footwear) and nine R&D organisations.

The promoters believe that, in order to remain competitive, the Portuguese footwear and fashion cluster must focus on creativity, master the entire production process and product life cycle, adding value at every stage and embracing social, market and technological challenges, trends and opportunities.

The “FAMEST – Footwear, Advanced Materials, Equipments and Software Technologies” project is being developed under the Incentive System for Research and Technological Development (SI I&DT) and co-financed by Compete 2020, Portugal

2020 and the European Union.
